OET KPS, TICA, and JICA Evaluate TCTP Project Success and Action Plans in Attapeu, Lao PDR

Attapeu Province, Lao PDRThe Office of Extension and Training Kamphaengsaen (OET KPS), led by Assistant Professor Rattana Angkasit, Special Expert of OET KPS, collaborated with Ms. Witida Sivakua, Head of the Promotion of Cooperation for Development based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) Group, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and the project advisory team for the Smallholder Horticulture Empowerment and Promotion (SHEP) project from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Together, they conducted a field visit to monitor and evaluate the alumni of the training program titled “Third Country Training Programme (TCTP) on Sustainable Community Development Programme based on the Application of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) and Smallholder Horticulture Empowerment and Promotion (SHEP).” The evaluation took place at the Integrated Technical-Vocational School in Attapeu Province, Lao PDR.

During this monitoring and evaluation visit, the program alumni presented the progress and achievements of their respective operations driven by their post-training Action Plans. The session included an active exchange of perspectives regarding key success factors, challenges, obstacles, and strategic approaches to enhance activity efficiency. Furthermore, the evaluation committee conducted on-site field visits to inspect local activities and interviewed students, as well as relevant stakeholders, to track the practical application of SEP and SHEP frameworks in the real area. These efforts are geared toward driving sustainable development in both the local community and the agricultural sector moving forward.

ໃນການຕິດຕາມ ແລະ ປະເມີນຜົນຄັ້ງນີ້, ຜູ້ຜ່ານການຝຶກອົບຮົມໄດ້ນຳສະເໜີຄວາມຄືບໜ້າ ແລະ ຜົນສຳເລັດຂອງການດຳເນີນງານຕາມແຜນປະຕິບັດງານ (Action Plan) ພາຍຫຼັງການເຂົ້າຮັບການຝຶກອົບຮົມ ພ້ອມທັງແແລກປ່ຽນຄຳຄິດຄຳເຫັນກ່ຽວກັບປັດໄຈຄວາມສຳເລັດ, ບັນຫາ, ອຸປະສັກ ແລະ ແນວທາງການພັດທະນາກິດຈະກຳໃຫ້ມີປະສິດທິພາບຍິ່ງຂຶ້ນ. ນອກຈາກນີ້, ຄະນະຜູ້ຕິດຕາມ ແລະ ປະເມີນຜົນຍັງໄດ້ລົງພື້ນທີ່ຢ້ຽມຊົມກິດຈະກຳພາກສະໜາມ ແລະ ສຳພາດນັກຮຽນ ລວມເຖິງຜູ້ມີສ່ວນກ່ຽວຂ້ອງ ເພື່ອຕິດຕາມຜົນການນຳເອົາອົງຄວາມຮູ້ຕາມແນວທາງ SEP ແລະ SHEP ໄປໝູນໃຊ້ເຂົ້າໃນພື້ນທີ່ຕົວຈິງ ອັນຈະນຳໄປສູ່ການພັດທະນາຊຸມຊົນ ແລະ ພາກການກະເສດຢ່າງຍືນຍົງຕໍ່ໄປ.
