Third Country Training Program (TCTP) – Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries: Day 2

       On January 10, 2024, the international training program, “Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries,” took place. From 9:30 to 11:30 AM, participants attended a lecture on “Thailand’s Rice Production Economy and Policy Toward a Sustainable Rice Platform,” presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somporn Isvilanond. In the afternoon, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sonthaya Sampao-thong led a session on the “Rice Value Chain.” Then, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juthamas Romkaew delivered a lecture on “Seed Production and Seed Testing.”

       All sessions were held at the King Palm Room, Training Building, Kamphaeng Saen Promotion and Training Office.
