       A delegation from Kasetsart University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Krit Wanin, Vice President for Innovation and Social Engagement, together with executives from the Office of Extension and Training Kamphaeng Saen, and the Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Royal Thai Embassy in Maputo, the Republic of Mozambique. The visit aimed to express their respects and discuss potential collaboration in education and training between Thailand and Mozambique. On this occasion, the delegation also signed the condolence book in tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, to honor her boundless grace and benevolence. The visit took place on 12 November 2025 at the Royal Thai Embassy in Maputo, the Republic of Mozambique.
 
       The purpose of the visit was to follow up on the progress of training programs jointly conducted by Kasetsart University, the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The parties also exchanged information on the history and mandates of their respective institutions, as well as Thailand’s role in promoting investment and human resource development in the African region. In addition, both sides discussed the possibility of expanding academic cooperation, including student and staff exchange programs, scholarship opportunities for Mozambican nationals, and the development of short-term training courses tailored to local needs.
 
     This meeting reflects Kasetsart University’s commitment to advancing international cooperation and strengthening Thailand’s role in the global education arena.
