On January 21, 2026, under the collaboration of Kasetsart University (Kamphaeng Saen), JICA, and TICA, the “Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries 2026” training program held academic sessions focused on essential agricultural skills. The day featured lectures on “Plant Climate and Water Management” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tiwa Pakoktom, “Soil Fertility and Fertilizer Management” by Asst. Prof. Audthasit Wongmaneeroj, and concluded with “Seed Production and Seed Testing” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Juthamas Romkaew. These sessions aimed to transfer critical knowledge regarding water management, soil fertilization, and seed quality testing to sustainably enhance rice production efficiency in the African region.
