Post-Harvest Management and Rice Value Chain Day 1

On February 20, 2025, the Kasetsart University Extension and Training Office, Kamphaeng Saen hosted the opening ceremony for the International Training and Study Visit Program on “Post-Harvest Management and Rice Value Chain.”

This program welcomed executives and high-ranking officials from the Regional Rice Value Chain Development Project, Niger, and the International Cabinet of Agro-Food and Environmental Expertise, Burkina Faso.

Associate Professor Dr. Krit Wan-In, Vice President for Innovation and Social Engagement, presided over the opening ceremony. Dr. Kanyarat Chiewvech, Director of the Kasetsart University Extension and Training Office, Kamphaeng Saen, provided an overview of the program.

The event was further honored by the presence of Mr. Phasusit Wongsurawat, Minister-Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo, representing the Department of South Asian, Middle Eastern, and African Affairs. He welcomed the participants and presented commemorative gifts.

The opening ceremony took place at the Hong Hern Conference Room, marking the beginning of an insightful and impactful training program.
