Third Country Training Program (TCTP) - Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries : Day 20
On February 4, 2025, the international training program “Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries” offered participants an engaging day of both lectures and hands-on activities. In the morning, trainees attended a lecture on the classification of pesticides at the Department of Plant Pathology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Kamphaeng Saen. Following the lecture, they moved to the Department of Agronomy’s field site to practice pesticide spraying techniques in the session titled “Herbicide Application” led by Associate Professor Dr. Tossapol Pornprom.
In the afternoon, participants returned to the Department of Agronomy Laboratory for a practical session on weed classification and plant sample extraction under the topic “Identify Weeds in Paddy Fields,” conducted by Assistant Professor Dr. Jamnean Chompoo. The day provided valuable insights and hands-on experience in modern agricultural practices.
