Third Country Training Program (TCTP) – Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries: Day 14

       On January 27, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanet Malampong, the course supervisor, led participants of the international training program, “Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries,” on a study visit to the Chiang Mai Rice Seed Center. During the visit, they attended a lecture on the operations of the seed center, including rice seed production, quality control, and the development of the rice seed business. The group received a warm welcome from Mr. Chat Phanlek, the Director of the Chiang Mai Rice Seed Center. Dr. Kanyarat Chiewvech, Director of The Office of Extension and Training Kamphaeng Saen, also joined the study visit at the Chiang Mai Rice Seed Center in Nong Kwai Subdistrict, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province.
