The Office of Extension and Training Kamphaengsaen, in collaboration with the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, organized a training course on “Dairy Products Processing and Quality Management” from 18–25 March 2026 at the National Agricultural Extension and Training Center, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus.

Held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), the program welcomed six participants from Korea Rungra 888 Trading General Company.

Over the intensive 8-day program, participants received both theoretical and hands-on training, including:

Dairy science and dairy product processing

Quality control and quality assurance in the dairy industry

Practical training and study visits to relevant establishments in Thailand.

 

The learning atmosphere was friendly and collaborative under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Dr. Sasithorn Nakthong, joined by faculty members and experts from the Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, the Faculty of Agro-Industry, and the private sector.

This initiative underscores Kasetsart University’s role in advancing international academic cooperation and sustainable capacity building in the agriculture and food sectors.
