Under the collaborative ‘Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries 2026’ program—a joint effort by Kasetsart University (Kamphaeng Saen), JICA, and TICA—the training on January 19, 2026, focused on strengthening the analytical and management capabilities of African participants. The morning session featured a lecture on ‘Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) in Rice Production’ by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rapee Dokmaithes, followed by an afternoon session on ‘Rice Disease Management’ by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chainarong Rattanakreetakul. This comprehensive exchange of Thai agricultural expertise and technical analysis is designed to empower participants to enhance rice productivity and product value, further fostering sustainable agricultural development and international cooperation between Thailand and Africa.
