As part of the ‘Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries 2026’ program—a joint initiative by Kasetsart University (Kamphaeng Saen), JICA, and TICA—a Thai culinary exchange was held on January 18, 2026, to foster cultural ties and showcase agricultural wisdom. The session featured the preparation of traditional dishes, including Deep-fried Banana Blossoms, Banana Stalk Curry, and Bananas in Coconut Milk, highlighting the sustainable and holistic utilization of every part of the banana plant while promoting Thai cultural heritage to an international audience.
