The Office of Extension and Training, Kamphaeng Saen, Kasetsart University, in partnership with JICA and TICA, is hosting the international training program “Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries 2026” from January 14 to February 20, 2026.

      A key highlight occurred on January 16, 2026, when delegates from across Africa engaged in intensive sessions led by distinguished experts, including Assoc. Prof. Somporn Isvilanonda on Thailand’s Rice Production Economy and Policy Toward Sustainable Rice Platform and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanate Malumpong on rice growth and development and organic rice farming. This pivotal day of learning underscores the program’s mission to strengthen Thai-African relations and advance global food security through the exchange of cutting-edge agricultural technology and sustainable organic practices.
