Third Country Training Program (TCTP) – Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries: Day 9

       On January 20, 2025, participants in the international training program, “Rice Production Technologies for Food Security and Sustainability of African Countries,” presented their country reports. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanet Malampong and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tosapol Phonphrom attended the session, where they listened to the reports and asked questions about rice cultivation in each country. In the afternoon, Mr. Ken Fujie, General Coordinator of the CARD Secretariat, and Ms. Hakiwara Makiko from the JICA Thailand Office introduced the background of JICA’s involvement with the Coalition for African Rice Development (CARD).

       The sessions took place at the King Palm Room, National Agricultural Promotion and Training Center.
