Enhancing AgriValue: Study Tour on Strengthening Agricultural Value Chains for Competitive Agricultural Products in Cambodia’s Key Provinces, 21-27 July 2024
The “Enhancing AgriValue: Study Tour on Strengthening Agricultural Value Chains for Competitive Agricultural Products in Cambodia’s Key Provinces,” scheduled from July 21st to 27th, 2024, is designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of how to enhance agricultural value chains in order to increase the competitiveness of agricultural products in Cambodia. During this study tour, participants will visit key agricultural regions, engaging with local farmers, cooperatives, and industry experts to learn about successful strategies and best practices for improving production, processing, and distribution.
The tour will focus on key aspects such as value addition, sustainable farming techniques, quality control, market access, and innovative technologies that can boost the competitiveness of agricultural products both locally and internationally. In addition to on-site visits, the program will include discussions and workshops, allowing participants to gain practical insights into the challenges and opportunities within Cambodia’s agricultural sector. By the end of the tour, attendees will have a comprehensive understanding of how strengthening agricultural value chains can lead to higher productivity, greater market reach, and long-term sustainability in the agricultural sector.
